Part of the ‘Transformative Power of Art’ Masterclass Series

In this class we will work from a black and white photograph of ourself in order to render two different approaches to self-portraiture: impressionist and expressionist.. We will build on the experiences of our previous sessions but new comers are also welcome. No experience is required. From this study we will ask “What can we learn from drawing a picture of ourself?” In what ways “Is this a valuable exercise?” And what do the two modes of representation teach us? Join us and picture yourself!
