Just as there are predictable ways a child learns to grow, crawl, stand and walk to explore the world, there are also important pathways for self-soothing. But these relate much more to the end of the day, when
it is time to rest, release from the impressions of the day, and go to sleep.
Dr. Adam Blanning will present the steps and progression of the inner sensory pathway and how it relates to sleep problems, challenges with self-regulation, as well as very positive qualities, like resilience and an inward sense of well-being.

Adam Blanning MD practices anthroposophic family medicine in Denver,Colorado. He works as a co-leader for the Medical Section at the Goetheanum in Switzerland, supporting and coordinating anthroposophic medical activities worldwide. He lectures nationally andinternationally,
co-directs the postgraduate physician training programs for anthroposophic
medicine in the U.S. and is a past president of the Anthroposophic Health Association (AHA).
Dr.Blanning is also the author of “Understanding Deeper Developmental Needs” and “Raising Sound
Sleepers” which are well cherished by parents and teachers.
