Just as there are predictable ways a child learns to grow, crawl, stand and walk to explore the world, there are also important pathways for self-soothing. Adequate warmth and closeness, especially during a feverish illness in early childhood, helps the child’s ability to self-regulate. We have to learn with our children how to warm up to fever and support
the immune system in the best and age-appropriate way.“
In this masterclass, Dr. Karin Michael will delve into the significance of warmth and fever in early childhood.
She will explore how these elements foster a child’s development and well-being, offering insights into supportive care practices.
This session is designed for parents, teachers, health care professionals, caregivers, and anyone interested in the holistic care of young children.
